Funäsdalen is the main village in the area with services and amities. The distinctive Funäsdalsberget rises above the village, with a spectacular top café and great pistes, the arena of many international competitions. Funäsdalen has everything you desire, shops, restaurants, pubs and dancing and night skiing, Nordic Ski tracks,
floodlit tracks and mountains on your doorstep. The local museum depicts the fascinating local history and has quickly become a major attraction. The museum building also houses the tourist information, FunäsdalsFjäll.
Holidays are form Sunday to Sunday.
Your holiday starts in Norway at Roros airport, Roros is a world heritage town and said to be the prettiest town in Norway. Why not stay there an extra night at either end of your holiday.
We will meet you at the airport or station and transfer you to Sweden about 50min passing vast lakes valleys and mountains. You will be unable to resist exploring the countryside at the foot of your door on your arrival.

Welcome. We are a small independent company operating adventure holidays in Sweden. We are based in Tanndalen a traditional town in the wilderness of northern Sweden Here there is a wilderness with plenty of high peaks, with untouched valleys and large lake systems. In this landscape you can travel for days without seeing another soul. The Funäsdalen mountains in Härjedalen constitute the southernmost bare mountain area in Sweden, with the highest and most scenic peaks south of the Arctic circle. The highest is Helags at 1,796 metres, with a glacier in the giant bowl on the northern slopes, with large and alluring areas of mountains with easy access. The hiking trails are suitable for beginners as well as experienced trekkers
In addition to the scenery the mountains offer many delicacies, such as cloudberries, chanterelles, morels and game fish. During your stay in the mountains you can recharge your batteries, fill your soul with experiences while stocking your larder with culinary souvenirs which will last all through winter.
The fauna is quite exotic, and with some luck you may spot a musk-ox, bears, wolves, wolverine, eagles and lynx.
