Experienced guide will bring you along to the water of your dreams, where you will get to sneak up on heavy salmon trout in small streams, or show you where Rogen’s fattest graylings stand. You will have a very nice fishing companion who will take care of coffee making, snell binding, and help you to perfect your casting technique! Your best investment for a successful fishing week!
Our guide has hooked salmon trout in New Zealand, guided people in Kaitum, and sneaked along all the good rivers and streams in the Funäsdalen mountain range for several years. You cannot be in better hands!
Bushcraft
The Rogen Nature Reserve covers an area of 500 square km and is one of the most highly located lake districts in Sweden. Together, Rogen and the Norwegian National Park Fermundsmarka (385 square km) form one gigantic wilderness territory without
roads but with innumerable small and large lakes, surrounded by rounded mountaintops up to 1300 m high. The region shows the traces of the last Ice Age. Typical are the many rock fields, across which you have to carry the canoe from time to time. Besides reindeer, and a herd of musk-oxen there are also Lynx, Brown Bears, Wolf, Wolverine, Golden Eagle and Osprey. When you are lucky you may come to spot otters and beavers. Many of the wild edible berries thrive in the area including Lingonberry, Crowberry, Bog Bilberry, Black Berry and a plethora of wild flowers and moss. This are is used by us for bushcraft and canoeing.

The walking is truly breath taking with many places to swim in your very own lake, free camping and open fire cooking is possible everywhere.
Why not climb the track up Funäsdal Mountain, the trail is a so-called
Via Ferrata and is a vertiginous adventure for all the family – even young beginners!
Wearing a harness, helmet and slings, you climb tied in along a cable, up steep cliffs and traverses. The view is panoramic! This is your opportunity to safely tame your fear of heights…
At the top you get your reward; this is where the Topp cabin is situated, where you can buy newly made waffles, sandwiches, coffee, etc.
You will receive information, instructions and equipmeut. The outing takes c. 2-3 hours. From the top you can walk down the slalom slope or take the lift and then head for Funäsda. The outing can be performed every day. Reasonable fitness and no younger children than 8 years old are recommended.
