Funäsdalsfjäll has Europe’s best Skidoo area! 450 km of Scooter tracks in one of Sweden’s most beautiful environment. With a gps you can go to the north pole if you wish.
Driving the snowmobile is an excellent way to see the wild and vast landscape of Hariedalen. The participants are provided with full equipment and safety regulations are always given before starting the engines. No experience of snowmobiles is necessary for this trip, but participants should be confident drivers. Don't forget to bring your driving license.
Röros week is from around the 19th February
The town of Røros is one of the oldest towns in Europe still made of wooden buildings. It’s one of the few mining towns in the world to be on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. A Norwegian author declared that the town is “a place of whispering history”. The wooden houses give the town a medieval appearance and evoking a rich period atmosphere captured in many films and television shows.
Røros Fair is an annual event that dates back to 1854, with an enchanting atmosphere. In the past the people of Härjedalen were trader/farmers. They travelled to Røros market with their sled horses laden with goods. They made this long journey in the wilderness, for the opportunity to sell their goods and to meet other traders. This tradition is maintained today and in February you can see the sled horses procession stopping at Hotel Tänndalen for refreshments on the way to Røros.
Winter
Winter in Härjedalen is truly a winter wilderness. If you are a first time cross country skier or an expert then Sweden is the place to go.Experience the magnificent feeling of skiing ia true wilderness.

Funäsdalen area has one of the largest tracks system in the world. 300km of cut tracks and 450km marked tracks in all 1000km of linked trails. The Mountains of Funäsdalen are the most snow sure resort in Sweden skiing possible from December to the end of April. Cross Country skiing is just one of the adventure activities you can do in a week with us.
New for this year we have two and three day trips in the Rogen national reserve. Stay in log cabins taveling through a unforgettable and untouched wilderness of vast lakes and woods. No experience is needed but this is for those of you that want be a musher and the more adventures that want to drive their own team.

This is for any level of skier, 5 days skiing and one day off with possibility to go dog sledding. Our aim will be to improve your skiing or for those of you are at a competent level introduce you to wilderness skinning.
