We offer 1hr to 3hrs based locally giving you your first introduction to this magical experience
New for this year we have two and three day trips in the Rogen national reserve. Stay in log cabins taveling through a unforgettable and untouched wilderness of vast lakes and woods. No experience is needed but this is for those of you that want be a musher and the more adventures that want to drive their own team.
You will not just drive your team but for the duration of you trip you will take ownership of your dogs. This means you will feed and bed feed your dogs doing all that is necessary to run your dogs.
A typical 2 night trip.Day 1 Starts in Tännäs the last village before Rogen national reserve, were you will meet Per, Ann and the dogs. We will kit you out with warm clothing and instruct you in all that you need to know to have a safe and unforgettable experience. Each person will have between 4 and 5 dogs and a sport sled. You will then set off through ancient woods and a cross lakes and rivers to your remote cabin around 50km. Arriving at your cabin you will have to feed and bed your dogs down before you can eat. The cabin is small warm and cozy just what you need to relax and reflect on the day’s events.
Day 2 Early start the dogs want to be fed and walked, you have choice today out with the dogs or go by snow shoe to the top off the mountain with magnificent views. In later season there will be an option to go ice fishing. Retuning at the end of the day for dinner for you and the dogs
Day 3 After a hearty breakfast we retuning to Tännäs via a new 50km route to be met by us. This trip will be unforgettable and you will be in the company of two very fasting and interesting people. You will have to work with the dogs so must be fit and adventures; sleeping bags and basic facilities are the norm.
