Welcome to club news
We decided to start the club to promote and generate interest in Snowkiting in our local area and to have a point of contact for all things kite.
I have for many years been kiting in the paradise of my back yard Funäsdalen. What more could you ask for? Snow sure with a vast wilderness at your door and endless possibilities. Where else in the world can you walk out of your room get on the ski lift and kite into the vast untouched landscape?
I have been teaching kite to friends for 3 years now in the Tänndalen area and Lars has been teaching in the Rumundberget area. The aim of the club is simply this to get more people out kiting with us. All are welcome even if you just want to talk about kiting were to go or what kite to have just ring.
Kite is our passion and we have a paradise waiting to be explored , come and try we are sure it will become yours to. We will hold our first club night at the end of February date and venue will be given later, however it will probably be in hotel Tanndalen. Video and an introduction to kites and kit, lesson planning and advice on what to do next will be covered. To be a member simply emails us and we will keep you up to date on what’s going on.

Future aim to get our area on the international map as one of the best Destinations
We are planning an international Snowkite event sponsored by the community and local business. We have been working with the UK to bring kiters in large number and we hope to pull this off for late march or April,
For next year we have two large groups planed New-year and Easter
